Senior Account Executive – Outside Sales
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Account Executive is an aggressive sales professional who will drive a significant amount of revenue for EmailLabs. You will close numerous deals each month with leads that you identify and qualify. You will account manage and upsell the clients you bring in, and interface with EmailLabs support staff to ensure that your clients’ needs are being met. We are looking for an accomplished, persuasive, and professional team player who is relentless in closing new business for EmailLabs. This position will be based in Menlo Park, California.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quota
  • Outbound prospecting in a territory and in target verticals
  • Provide in-depth product demonstrations to leads via teleconference, web conference, and at on-site client meetings
  • Contact updates into SalesCenter, our soon-to-be-released sales force automation tool
  • Generate and close leads from tradeshows and other networking events
  • Continuous learning of EmailLabs product and services and industry trends
  • Travel as required to identify leads and close deals
  • Total focus on complete client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years sales experience, software sales a plus
  • Clear track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Clear track record of closing deals with a broad array of companies
  • Aggressive tendencies in identifying, qualifying and closing new business
  • Client-focused approach evident in prior sales experiences
  • Thorough understanding of on-demand marketing applications
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience selling to mid and senior management levels
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
