MENLO PARK, Calif. The conference will highlight digital marketing best practices including conversion optimization as well as search engine and email marketing.

On July 20, EmailLabs, a WebSideStory partner since February 2005 will present "E-mail Marketing Best Practices: How to Take Your Programs Up a Notch." Led by Loren McDonald, vice president of marketing for EmailLabs, the all-day workshop will provide strategies, tips and examples that will enable marketers to improve the ROI of their email marketing programs. The course will cover all aspects of email marketing from dealing with anti-spam filters, writing great subject lines to using trigger-based emails.

"WebSideStory has developed a well-rounded curriculum that focuses on some of the most important topics in digital marketing today: increasing conversions, search engine optimization and improving email marketing," said Loren McDonald, vice president of marketing for EmailLabs. "We're excited to be able to participate in this important educational forum that offers marketers valuable insight and information into building world-class email marketing programs."

The University costs $750 per day, with discounts given for multiple days, and is open to WebSideStory customers and prospects. Courses include four-hour and all-day sessions including "A Practitioner's Guide to Online Optimization," "Low Hanging Fruit in Online Acquisition," "Search Engine Marketing Powered by Web Analytics" and "Wizards of Web: Conversion Optimization."

"Given the tremendous success of our inaugural session, we will now be offering Digital Marketing University courses on a quarterly basis," said Pelin Wood, vice president of product marketing for WebSideStory. "Based on initial feedback, customers really enjoy the personalized curriculum and small-class sizes. We'll continue to grow the curriculum to reflect our customers' expanding digital marketing requirements."
