Blue Tent Marketing Leverages EmailLabs to Develop New Business Segment

Advanced Email Technology Enables Blue Tent Marketing to Provide Comprehensive Email Marketing Capabilities and Unique Value Equation to Customers

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2005) - EmailLabs (www.emaillabs.com), the leading Web services provider in the email marketing space, today announced Blue Tent Marketing (www.bluetent.com), an innovative Internet marketing and sales company, is private labeling the EmailLabs solution which includes trigger technology, for its customers. With the ability to provide its own clients with EmailLabs' email marketing technology, Blue Tent Marketing is expanding via a new business segment while giving a unique value equation to its clients.

With its former solution, Blue Tent Marketing realized its delivery rates were dropping and the limited solution could not scale with the company's growth. After evaluating several other email-marketing companies, Blue Tent Marketing ultimately selected EmailLabs for its superior scalability and depth of capabilities. Additionally, the private label agreement allowed Blue Tent customers to manage all of their email marketing needs through one interface.

By leveraging EmailLabs' trigger technology, Blue Tent Marketing has successfully created a new business segment focused on driving sales and improving the customer experience for its real estate, e-commerce, lodging and hospitality customers. Today, 55 Blue Tent Marketing customers are running on the EmailLabs platform and boasting improved click rates and consistently high delivery rates as a result.

Stay Aspen Snowmass Triggers Return Business

Based on EmailLabs' technology, Blue Tent Marketing developed its AC3E (Automated Customized Client Communication E-mail) technology, which affords the company the ability to create customized campaigns and deliver pre-arrival and post-departure emails for clients such as Stay Aspen Snowmass, the official central reservations site for both Aspen and Snowmass Village (www.stayaspensnowmass.com).

In this campaign, Aspen Mountain Lodge, a customer of the Stay Aspen Snowmass network, used a system that automatically sends customers a special "Trip Planning Guide" which showcases links to local dining venues and activities they can enjoy during their stay, fourteen days after a consumer makes a reservation. The campaign has been so successful that customers actually arrive at the Lodge with a copy of the email and the activities and restaurants they plan to enjoy circled. Seven days after departure, the system once again automatically sends visitors an HTML postcard with a photo from the lodge and a request to take an online survey.
